In this course we will discuss current research in business and economics, with a focus on research utilizing experimental and other empirical methods. Applications will span the fields of strategy, innovation, behavioral economics, public economics, etc.

Attendance requirements

In this course we expect students to attend all classes.

Teaching/learning method(s)

Discussion of existing literature related to own projects.
Presentation of own PhD projects.
Revision of projects based on commentary.
Open discussion of projects presented by internal and external speakers

Assessment
The course grade will depend on:
  • Presentation of own research project (50%),
  • Written proposal incorporating feedback (20%), and
  • Discussion of other research projects (30%).
Regular attendance is required for completing this course.
