In-person lectures: 5 lecture units

Online:

  • Study what you learned in class:
    • Slides and content presented in class
  • Deepen your understanding:
    • 2-5 online videos to watch
    • 2-5 articles to read
  • Test your understanding:
    • Multiple choice questions that are not graded (200 in total)
    • 20 multiple-choice questions (4 after each unit) that are graded 
  • Apply your knowledge
    • Read 5 case studies and submit at two written case study reports
  • Ask your questions & connect with other students
    • Forum in which you can read through other students‘ answered questions and ask your own
    • Forum for students only to discuss course contents
Assessment
60%  Final Exam: 60 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions, multiple answers of four options can be true (administered within the exam week)
30%  Multiple Choice questions after units (due one week after the respective session; each question is worth 1 point; 4 questions after each session)
5%  Case Report #1: Choose a case study and write a case report (answering the case prompts)
5%  Case Report #2: Choose a case study and write a case report (answering the case prompts)
 
 
60-69%: Genügend
70-79%: Befriedigend 
80-89%: Gut
>90%: Sehr gut
 
Quiz and case study points cannot be transferred to another semester. The final percent will be rounded to the next full percent.
You will receive a grade once you submit one of the deliveries (e.g., quiz).
As this is a VUE and grading the case studies takes some time, you will not receive a grade immediately after the exam week. Please consider this when planning your semester (other course registrations, exchange semester applications, etc.)!
Prerequisites for participation and waiting lists

Die Platzvergabe während der Anmeldefrist erfolgt nach dem „first come, first served“-Prinzip.
Nach Ende der Anmeldefrist werden verfügbare LV-Plätze aufgestockt und die Studierenden der Warteliste, die derzeit noch keine gültige LV-Anmeldung zum Planpunkt haben (d.h. Tauschanfragen werden nicht berücksichtigt), nach Studienfortschritt gereiht zugeteilt.
Die Durchführung obliegt dem Vizerektorat für Lehre und Studierende und ist daher ohne Einflussmöglichkeit der/des LV-Leiter*in.

Registrations beyond the designated course size are not possible. There is no registration via email - please refrain from sending registration emails to the lecturers.

If you do not take the course, please deregister. As attendance is not required, we will not deregister you automatically (this also applies to the first lecture).
