Contents
  1. Analyse the increasing role and importance of Retail Logistics considering that multinational retailers (Amazon, Wal-Mart, Metro, Aldi etc.) are extremely powerful and manage most of the supply chain.
  2. Discuss the evolution and the five stages of Retail Logistics including e-commerce logistics and omni-channel logistics.
  3. Analyse key issues in Retail Logistics including customer service, retail warehousing, performance management and transportation.
  4. Discuss the major role and increasing importance of information technologies (e.g. EDI, ERP, RFID, AI, Blockchain, Data Analytics etc.) within Retail Logistics.
